Playing poker online can be very frustrating especially tournament poker as the buy ins into the tournaments can be so small and insignificant that at the start of a tournament especially you will find the ultimate poker morons.

For Example people who watch you only playing well and then think that when you raise big its a good time for them to go all in on 8 8 - This is a dumb person who does this and more often than not you will emerge victorious but on those times you dont you could scream that they would even think to play this way . The reason this page ever got written is that very event above happened and maybe that on its own would not have made me feel like venting my spleen but what followed was even worse and made me realise if I was to put this site together that you the visitor needed to be aware that this could happen to you.

I'm dealt

there are plenty of Stragglers hanging on to see the flop - there has been no raises so I raise slightly as I have a reputation at the table even in these early stages having only played big hands and played them to a finish and won ( whats reputation and why is it good ? ) so I know these guys will fold leaving me and what I would think might be j's or maybe a K or Q left to play against as I know the guys on this table will raise an Ace.

So the flop comes :

Q hearts 6 Clubs A hearts

I am small stacked but the guy ahead of me goes all in - He has a Q and thats all

The guy right next to me for this hand calls - He has 6 and 2 but has an fd ( whats an fd? )

I am ahead as I was pre flop but I am also all in as I was short stack and against two people who should not even be here but we can maybe forgive Q boy as I am slightly short stacked but 6 2 hearts to call a raise is nuts as all you have got is the flush draw and even then only 6 high - for refence readers 26 hearts is a big big FOLD pre flop to a raise.

The turn comes and its a 2 , 6 2 boy now has 2 pair and takes the hand from my pair of aces.

This will happen to you no doubt about it and it will hurt - your only satisfaction being that they wont be at the final table either and if you play them again then most likely you will make a big score of chips off them as they dont know how to play poker for toffee!!
