Indonesian native has many talents. He was top five in
his high school class, a track star in events of sprints
and long distance running and now a famous poker player.
After attending Oklahoma State University and before
earning his M.B.A. from the University of Seattle, Juanda
was a successful door-to-door Bible salesman. He began
playing poker in 1996 and has won three World
Championship gold bracelets since then. He was also
runner-up for Card Player Magazine’s Tournament
Player-of-the-Year in 2001 and 2002. Currently residing
in Alhambra, California, Juanda may go to medical school
some time in the future. He placed second at the
“Five Diamond World Poker Classic,” third at
the “WPT Invitational” and seventh at the
“PartyPoker Million.” His combined winnings
were $400,114 for the tournaments . |
