known as “Gus,” Gustav Hansen is one of the top
players in the world, and one of the most feared. Hansen,
a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, has taken the WPT by
storm and placed in six tournaments over both seasons.
Known as an aggressive and unpredictable player, Hansen
splits his home time between Monte Carlo and Las Vegas.
In addition to poker, he is an expert backgammon player
in addition to over a dozen other games. Hansen won four
WPT tournaments: “WPT Bad Boys,”
“PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, season one’s
”Five Diamond World Poker Classic” and
“L.A. Poker Classic.” He also placed third in
the second season “Five Diamond World Poker
Classic” and sixth in the “WPT Battle of
Champions.” Between all six tournaments, he won
