Cycalona Gowen - " Clonie " for short

| Usually referred to as “Clonie,” Cycalona Gowen was given her name because she was born during some bad weather. Born in Oklahoma, 34-year-old Gowen now lives in Dallas, Texas. During high school, Gowen played varsity basketball and learned to play poker from her boyfriend’s father. About 10 years ago she opened her own travel agency and it quickly expanded into two locations. She eventually sold the agencies and began playing professional poker, after placing well in a tournament she participated in while in vacation in Costa Rica. Gowen won “WPT Ladies Night” and took sixth in “WPT Ladies Night II.” She won $25,000 between the tournaments |
